Fire and Smoke Damage in Lakeland

The kitchen fire in this Lakeland home circulated a large amount of smoke and odors throughout the house, including this bedroom. This room needed a good vacuuming of the carpet to remove most of the combusted materials. The walls, ceiling, and baseboard were wiped down with special dry sponges and then a detergent follow-up. Besides the visible mess of the blackish coating on the hard and soft surfaces of the interior, odor suppression and eventual removal are just as important. During the cleanup, hydroxyl generators were immediately set up to help transform the offensive airborne particles into innocuous compounds, lacking odors and corrosive capacities.
