Fire Damage to a Bartow Kitchen
The usual suspect for a house fire in Bartow occurred in the kitchen. The grease fire splattered and flamed up sharply and damaged the ceiling and circulated oily soot throughout the cabinets, appliances, and fixtures. A careful wipe down was done to minimize the smearing of the residue. We cleared out the cabinets and wall units to remove the soot and odors. We set up an ozone machine and thermal foggers to eliminate the odor molecules after vacating the house and sealing off the kitchen. Wet smoke complicates cleanup, but our skilled FSRT, fire & smoke restoration technicians, got the job done. We finished up by closing in the ceiling with new drywall and applying a coat of primer.
